    HTML5, CSS3 and RWD
    HTML5, CSS3 and RWD

    HTML5 is a revision of the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and is a standard markup language for structuring and presenting content on the World Wide Web.

    CSS3 is the latest standard for developing Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and is used to describe the layout and formatting of a website to a web browser.

    RWD means Responsive Web Design and is an approach designed to optimise the viewing possibilities of a particular website over multiple different devices and platforms.

    QZT implement the latest standards of HTML5, CSS3 and RWD in order to provide slick, functional and modern web browsing experiences over a number of different devices, mediums and formats while keeping pace with developments in the technology. We also provide Javascript and jQuery solutions in order to provide excellent front to back integration and user experience.

    PHP and WordPress
    PHP and WordPress

    PHP originally stood for Personal Home Page, and was created to provide basic server-side scripting support for simple web development.

    It now stands for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor, and according to w3techs.com as of April 2015 is responsible for 82% of websites using a server-side programming language. PHP and CMS frameworks such as Wordpress and Symfony have hugely accelerated it's use.

    QZT have extensive experience in developing with PHP, and leveraging, adapting or implementing existing frameworks. We have developed customised Wordpress themes and plugins, integrating and leveraging Wordpress' excellent features and capabilites. We have also developed simple and extensible sites with bespoke MySQL and PHP integration, for websites that require simplicity rather than overly complex implementation for cost-effective solutions. We have also built and adapted our own frameworks from existing technologies such as Symfony in order to allow integration of some of the best industry standard components while allowing projects to integrate with client's existing workflows. We can also build or maintain systems from any of the popular frameworks: Symfony, Zend, Drupal, CodeIgniter or Laravel.

    iOS, Android and Windows
    iOS, Android and Windows Phone

    iOS is Apple's mobile phone Operating System, which allows for coding and developing in the Objective C and the newer Swift programming languages for use on the iPhone and iPad systems.

    Android is a Linux based OS currently supported and developed by Google and is also used in numerous electronic systems aside from mobile phones.

    Windows Phone is Microsoft's mobile solution, launched in 2010 as a competitor to the Apple and Google technologies.

    Mobile phone technologies are expanding and accelerating at a phenomenal rate, and keeping up to speed with these technologies is one of the challenges QZT embraces. We keep up to speed with the latest developments from Apple and code and update iOS apps where required, and have provided bespoke Android solutions, from Froyo through to JellyBean, for our clients. We are currently looking to expand and develop our clientbase in the exciting new technologies of Windows Phone.

We also have extensive experience in implementing ORM technologies such as Hibernate or Doctrine in order to provide not only extensive abstraction from your data source but also a much higher level of security.

    C and C++ are some of the older yet most powerful technologies available to modern day developers. They are used for system programming but also in performance critical applications, desktop systems and server systems. GCC is the GNU Compiler Collection, developed under the Free Software Foundation for creating bespoke C and C++ applications.

    QZT have developed and used these technologies for a variety of different solutions, utilising common C and C++ libraries such as boost, glib, dlib and gtk.

    We have also provided Desktop solutions using Nokia's Qt framework, our framework of choice for developing native Desktop applications that will run on multiple platforms.
